Rasstore™ works by restoring RASSF1A activity, which normally controls cell growth, but is decreased in cancer cells due primarily to methylation. RASSF1A is probably the most frequently methylated gene and is described as -methylated in at least 37 tumor types.

Rasstore™ can be used as a therapeutic and as a diagnostic. It is designed and scientifically synthesized to be a more effective therapeutic than the naturally occurring compound Mahanine (derived from curry plants). The bioengineered fluorescing portion of Rasstore™ also allows it to be used as a diagnostic tool to locate areas in the body that have concentrated amounts of the therapeutic inside of tumor cells.
